Engineer - mechanical - (Oak Creek, WI)

We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an Engineer at our Oak Creek Power Plant, Oak Creek, WI. This position will be responsible for providing mechanical engineering support for power generation in the areas of mechanical process engineering (fluid mechanics and thermodynamics), environmental compliance, and code compliance. As a member of plant management, work with operators, mechanics, designers, and various technical experts to assess equipment performance and troubleshoot issues. Recommend and implement solutions as appropriate. Responsibilities: * Participate in teams or provide work direction to employees to ensure success of projects and/or solve problems. * Perform predictive and root cause analysis of problems. Determine and recommend corrective action. * Plan, develop, organize, and schedule a wide variety of engineering projects.
