Genesis10 is currently seeking a System Engineer with our client in the financial industry in their Charlotte, NC location. This is a 12 mon + contract position. Description: Seeking a System Engineer Responsibilities: Install and configure IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus V8 infrastructure components (ObjectServer, Probes, gateways, Web GUI, Process Control) Requirements: Strong background in installing, configuring, administering, problem determination and documenting of solutions for IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus V8 Individual will be expected to perform these tasks with limited assistance from peers, product documentation, and support resources Strong current expertise of Netcool Omnibus Probe Rule file language Strong current understanding of Netcool Impact and Impact policy language Strong working understanding engineering and implementing server and application monitoring integrations with IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus V8 Strong current expertise of specific operating system commands (ls, ulimit, uname
