API Developer - (Norfolk, VA)

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Develop reports and extracts using MS SQL, BI tools and Informatica by writing complex T-SQL and PLSQL querie Deploy reports and extracts using SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and Informatica technologies Create/schedule report subscriptions using a report scheduler Optimize reports by analyzing and standardizing code Make enhancements and conduct testing to ensure reports are optimized Conduct performance tuning of queries in order to improve execution time Research time critical report failures, make recommendations, develop corrective actions, and re-run the reports to support business needs Generate ad-hoc reports to support emergency and urgent business needs Work together with the department's systems analysts to ensure qualifications are implemented in an automated fashion for reports Collaborate closely with the database administrators to move code from development to QA and production environments Resolve issues; consult on log files; and optimize the processing
