Senior Power Systems Study Engineer (Austin, TX) - (Austin, TX)

Ulteig is currently seeking talented and motivated senior level engineering applicants to support power system studies and NERC compliance documentation on projects within the renewable energy and power markets. This position can be based in either our Denver CO, Fargo ND, or St. Paul MN office or 100% remotely from Austin, TX. The engineer is expected to perform studies utilizing PSS--E, PSCAD and other software packages, to train, coach and mentor other engineers within the company in the area of power systems studies, and to identify and support business development and project opportunities. It is preferred this individual have previous background with steady-state and dynamic analysis utilizing PSS--E and background with renewable energy projects. If desired and as project workload allows, engineer will have the expertise to work in other areas of power system analysis, design, and testing that Ulteig is currently involved in, or that is seen as an area of potential growth for the company.
