Practically, this role involves participating as a member of the Hospice Interdisciplinary Group under the direction of a registered nurse/licensed practical nurse as defined by Standards for the Certified Nursing Assistant {(OAR 851-60-000-851-60-800) Nurse Practice Act (10/97)}. On a human level, it's about treating in-home hospice patients with the dignity and compassion they deserve.
