Precision Assembler - 1st Shift - (St Louis, MO)

Description: Summary of Job: Expertise to assemble component parts according to blueprint specifications, and after assembly, if required, test the part per Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP). Essential Duties and Assignments include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Able to troubleshoot problems and identify root cause, offer solutions. • Consistently able to perform assembly of job orders to set time standards. • Perform repair (under FAA guidelines) as required. • Mechanically inclined, able to learn new jobs, be cross-trained in all areas. • Train less skilled or experienced employees; guide others in learning a specific job, procedure, or process. • Receive job order and direction from supervisor. • Read and interpret the blueprint. • Create setup (whether it is a setup box or a complex setup). • Assemble parts using the setup and to blueprint specifications.
