Forklift Mechanic - (Virginia Beach, VA)

Working in a shop setting operating on various forklift engines, reach trucks, diesel engines, and electrical circuits. Will be inside Monday through Friday in a very busy team oriented shop environment. Responsibilities: Must be able analyze and diagnose equipment problems. Rebuild, repair, replace and maintain electric, diesel forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks. Identify and develop solutions, partnering with and advising customers on corrective actions and preventative measures. Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Skills: Min of one year of Forklift Mechanic Background or background operating with Diesel Engines. Auto background and HVAC might be considered. Education: Trade Background: Experienced Requirements: Must be self-motivated, independent, and perform with personal integrity and accountability. Present a professional image in appearance, attire, and preparation. Maintain a clean & organized service van stocked with your tools. Assist other mechanics in repairs, OJT, and mentoring.
