Overnight Security Officer - (St Augustine, FL)

Objective / Purpose / Summary: This position is primarily responsible for guarding industrial or commercial property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry by performing the following duties. Requirements: Education / Certifications / Work/Industry Background: One Year certificate from college or technical school; or 3 to 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and background. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities (KSA's) & Competencies: Expertise to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Expertise to write routine reports and correspondence. Expertise to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Expertise to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
