Lab & Quality Control Manager - (Mira Loma, CA)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Under the direction of the President/COO this position leads the production quality control functions, ensures production quality, and provides government record keeping and administrative production paperwork accuracy. This position is generally four days a week with ten hour days requiring occasional overtime and schedule flexibility for varying shifts. REQUIRED FUNCTIONS: Supervise quality control and laboratory technicians engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure high productivity and high technical integrity. Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and to establish quality and reliability expectancy of finished products. Create, document and implement inspection criteria and procedures for raw ingredients, packaging materials, and finished goods. Interact with vendors to ensure quality of all purchased raw materials and packaging components.
