Mortgage Field Rep - (Morristown, NJ)

Morristown, NJ Provident Bank, a multi-billion dollar NJ based bank with branches in NJ and eastern PA is seeking an experienced outside residental loan originator. Qualified candidates must have a proven sales record. JOB OVERVIEW Under close supervision, this key position solicits and develops a wide variety of mortgage loans to individuals, including mortgage, home equity loans, etc. Works with realtors and other mortgage referral sources. Primarily deals with direct single-family loans. This is a commissioned position. LI-POST MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Generates loans through prospecting and following up on leads. Originates a min of $2,000,000 in mortgage loans per month averaged over each quarter. 25% Services the Branch Offices in an assigned territory to including maintaining a regular schedule of attendance in the Branches during extended hours, for the purpose of direct contact with the Branch's customer base to provide mortgage-financing details.
