Title Project Accountant 29-November-2018 City Temecula_USA Position description Under general supervision, the Project Accountant is responsible for the financial reporting of projects, time card reporting, controlling activities as well as initiating and maintaining financial data, supporting project controls improvement and providing regular analysis throughout the life of Projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND COMPETENCIES Project accounting: Create project contracts in the accounting system (Microsoft Dynamics AX). Maintain project related records, including contract and change orders. Set-up project accounts and WBS structures within AX. Oversee the accuracy of internal and external projects and data validation. Authorize the transfer of expenses into and out of project-related accounts. Review, code and approve supplier invoices related to projects.
