JOB SUMMARY Develops strategies to create new products and keep BCBSAZ's existing senior products competitive in the marketplace while ensuring their profitability and compliance with state and federal regulation. Defines, creates, manages and implements product offerings in the marketplace for multiple lines of business. KEY FUNCTIONS Responsible for the product life-cycle and marketing principles associated with product portfolio and making recommendations for growth and retention, including development of Medicare product objectives, goals and strategies to ensure a competitive and profitable product offering. Manage the development of mandated materials and member communications for Medicare Supplement and PDP plans. Maintain a thorough and comprehensive understanding of CMS and DOI regulatory requirements to effectively assess the impact to product portfolio, product design, implementation and related plan communications and marketing materials.
