Structural Engineer with Security Clearance - (Lexington, MA)

Solidus is searching for a Structural Engineer. Assignments include: -Perform structural analyses and testing for high performance sensors and payloads in a space environment. -Use of finite element analysis to predict mechanical response quantities including displacements and stress to meet structural integrity and mechanical system requirements. -Specific analyses include predicting the structural response and behavior due to inertial and pressure loads, thermal environments, harmonic and random vibration disturbances, and shock environments. The successful candidate will join a team that provides innovative multidisciplinary engineering solutions though the development of advanced mechanical and aerospace technologies for sea, ground, air, and space-based prototype systems for national security applications.
