General Maintenance Mechanic - Central Plant (Tempe campus) Arizona State University FDM FM Central Plant Campus: Tempe 49961BR Position overview: Facilities Management, Central Plant, seeks an experienced General Maintenance Mechanic. Compensation range: To be determined Close Date: 11-March-2019 Essential Duties: Maintain and repair cooling towers, chillers and boilers to include pumps, air compressors, fan coil units, heat exchangers and engines. Repair piping systems and other aux equipment. Work off ladders (up to 30 ft) and scaffolding to punch tubes, close valves and replace lamps. Perform routine cleaning of tubes. Wax and burnish floors. Trash removal and material recycling. Maintain written records. Drive a University vehicle. Expertise to communicate verbally, read, write, see and hear to perform the critical functions of the job.
