City of Morristown Equipment Mechanic The City of Morristown is now accepting applications to fill the position of Equipment Mechanic. Performs intermediate skilled work maintaining and repairing a variety of automotive, construction & specialized equipment; does related work as required. Maintains, services and repairs automotive, heavy & light equipment & specialty equipment such as fire trucks. Troubleshoots & diagnoses problems, determines most cost-effective course of action. Obtains necessary parts when required. Work is performed under the immediate supervision of the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor.
