Chaplain - (Corpus Christi, TX)

Driscoll Children's Hospital is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and creative Chaplain for fulltime duty, a commitment which includes 0800-1700, Monday through Friday. It also includes on-call duty for providing 1/3 of coverage for 24/7/365 pastoral care coverage for the hospital. This Chaplain will become part of a pastoral care team which cares for the spiritual needs of our patients, families, and staff. A successful applicant must work well with area clergy of all faiths and denominations; must work efficiently as part of a departmental team as well as effectively collaborating with other health care professionals; shall be flexible to cover days and shifts as needed; certification by Association of Professional Chaplains or in the process of seeking certification which would be completed within 2 yrs of hiring.
