Cable Assembler - (Tucson, AZ)

For over twenty years, Beacon Group has been building wire harnesses and cable assemblies for customers in Tucson and other locales around the globe. We use over 100 mis of wire to build cable and wire harness assemblies each year. We are seeking an individual to provide advanced Cable & Harness assembly skills. Necessary experience: (Min one year) Expertise to assemble cables per drawings and technical documentation. Hand soldering background, wires, components, etc. Hand crimping background per required specifications. Expertise to recognize acceptable and defective crimps. Drawing interpretation and reading. Basic math skills. Measurement skills, scales, calipers, micrometers, etc. Continuity testing background. Excellent manual dexterity to manipulate small parts. Expertise to become and maintain IPC-620 Certification with in-house training. Expertise to become and maintain IPC J-STD-001 Certification with in-house training. Expertise to communicate effectively.
