Journeyman plumber - (Dallas, TX)

JOB SUMMARYResponsibilities include but are not limited to performing highly complex waterworks construction and maintenance under limited supervision. Work involves, working with contractors, estimating work hours and materials required for projects, and coordinating activities with other departments.SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Supervise contractors.* Inspect work for code compliance with building codes in potable water maintenance and construction of all plumbing work. * Read, interpret and follow schematic plans for installation. * Participates in the repair of all waterworks maintenance and construction activities associated with the zoo.* Other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS* Must have a high-school certificate or GED.* Must have a min of three years' background and have a current Journeyman Plumber License and current expertise of commercial maintenance and construction procedures.* Background in service calls and repairs preferred including expertise to estimate job hours and materials
