Certified safety professional - (Fort Bragg, NC)

Construction Company has an immediate opening for a Certified Safety Professional. This job mandates knowledge in all facets of vertical and horizontal construction. The perfect applicant has background working on Government installations and has an understanding of the USACE EM 385-1-1. Light Travel is required throughout the Southeast to visit our jobsites and perform safety inspections and training. Duties will include:. Train employees & subcontractors on company policies and procedures. Perform site specific training on job sites. Create applicable tool box topics and review them with work force. Assist in training employees to recognize and control all hazards. Conduct daily inspections of job site and work areas. Review pre task plans daily. Perform safety observations of job sites and work areas. Annual audits of safety equipment as required. Audit safety policies as required. Perform environmental audits as required. Report all incidents and injuries.
