Director of child care center - (Waldorf, MD)

Directors Responsibilities, but not limited to the following: Ensuring curriculum and developmentally appropriate practices are in place Assisting teachers with weekly developmental programs/activities Safety of all children Meet all licensing qualifications Keeping children and staff's files up to date Giving tours of the center to prospective parents and enrolling new families Keep the environment where the children, families and staff thrive Partner with parents to ensure the best care and education for their children Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, and the children Strong Leadership Skills Ensure payments of tuition are being made promptly Conduct Staff Meetings Maintain facility in a safe condition Keep up with new regulations Prepare Newsletters and Snack Menus for each month Perform other related duties as assigned Must have an AA Degree in Early Child Education or a Bachelor's Degree If you are already qualified through licensing that's a plus.
