Assists the Food Service Manager with the supervision and management of the food service area. May service as Acting Food Service Manager in the Food Service Manager’s absence. REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE: High school certificate or equivalent required. ociate of Arts degree from an licensed insution preferred. one year of management/supervisory requirements required. three to 5 years in insutional food preparation and technical training preferred. Must be able to obtain ServeSafe credentials. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the ability to ess the lift load in order to ask for necessary istance. MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISION: Responsible for supervising and managing all kitchen staff to include Job Corps’ Work-Based Learning and Leisure Time Student workers.
