The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a senior IT Specialist with responsibility for managing NORAD's and USNORTHCOM's enterprise data center management processes and technology including the policy, guidance, planning, analysis, acquisition, design, development, implementation, and/or management of data centers and Wide Area Network communications.Responsibilities Manages the Command?s data center systems and WAN communication links, monitors new complex data center systems, manages and coordinates data center hardware/software installations and upgrades. As a senior IT specialist, performs feasibility studies on complex details systems and conducts in-depth analyses complicated by novel problems.
