The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the supercomputing customer service lead for the AFRL Department of Defense Supercomputer Resource Center (DSRC). Responsibilities Leads a combined government- contractor team of computer scientists and engineers providing technical support for over 4,000 customers and more than 800 projects in the DoD High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPC). Manages and provides technical oversight of the help desk in providing technical assistance to supercomputing users of 5 geographically dispersed DSRC. Guides software engineers in helping DoD-wide researchers use highly specialized software applications on complex, highly integrated supercomputers. Leads projects to design and implement advanced computer graphics systems to support data visualization requirements.
