Career Summary: Hire Logic is searching for an experienced individual to become the Bookkeeper for a Production Company in Santa Monica, CA. The perfect candidate, directly reporting to the VP of Finance, will assist in managing the day-to-day accounting and finance requirements for the company. Primary responsibilities: Balance and maintain accurate ledgers Audit and approve invoices Weekly AP check runs (approximately. twenty checks a week)/AR billings and collections. Monitor office expenses and log and enter cash receipts Prepare payroll (using Intuit QuickBooks) and manage various benefits Monitor office expenses and enter and apply cash receipts Update daily cash reports, by film, and by company Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis Reconcile bank accounts Prepare journal entries and postings to the general ledger Maintain accurate and timely records.
