Position: Content Writer (Tech/Venture Capital exp) Location: Alexandria/Arlington, VA Starts: 03/11/2019 Duration: Ongoing (six months) Status: Freelance Rate: Up to $42/Hour DOE Our client in Arlington, VA is looking for a Writer to assist their team with ongoing work. THIS IS NOT MARKETING COPYWRITING - MORE JOURNALISTIC/TREND WRITING *TECH SPACE* This work can be completed offsite and approx 10-15 hours per week. Assignments include: -Write blogs, newsletters, reports, etc. -Write to audiences in the tech, venture capital, and other external audiences -Create content for a tech report -Interview staff for reports, blogs, etc. Qualifications to be considered for the freelance writer position: -5+ years' of background -Background taking technical jargon and turning it into easily understood for general audiences -Degree in Journalism is a Bonus!
