Planner/Estimator - (Virginia Beach, VA)

Job Location: Virginia Beach, Virginia Job type: i.e. Engineering Job Status: Full-time Position summary: The applicant will have background in planning and estimating the accomplishment of ship/craft repairs and alterations, including equipment removal and installation. Applicant must be a self-starter and have the expertise to work in a dynamic workplace atmosphere. The job necessitates significant knowledge and background with reviewing work specifications, engineering drawings and NAVSEA standard items in order to provide both labor and material estimates. Safety and quality qualifications must be included in the estimates therefore the applicant shall have a current expertise of quality and safety qualifications as they apply to Navy ship repair and modification work.
