About This Position The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine has an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Associate. The Postdoctoral Associate is an integral team player in the program of clinical research and clinical service delivery at the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience and Aging (CNSA). Training will center upon learning state of the art methods to assess, diagnose and treat neurodegenerative diseases. The Postdoctoral Associate will also learn to analyze data, prepare manuscripts for publication, prepare grant applications, and execute NIH-funded studies. The focus of the research fellowship is to train a promising postdoctoral student to study more innovative ways of assessing and diagnosing persons in the earliest stages of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease and related disorders (ADRD). There is also a strong focus on cross-cultural neuropsychological assessment, cognitive training, and cognitive neuroscience.
