Volunteer coordinator - (Alpine, CA)

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the volunteer program at Lions Tigers & Bears. Working closely with the managers of the various departments at LTB, the Volunteer Coordinator helps to assess the human resources needs for each area or special program/project, and recruits and recommends the appointment of volunteers to roles that suit them and the needs of the organization. The Volunteer Coordinator reports to the Executive Assistant/Business Operations Supervisor, and communicates closely with him/her in coordinating and prioritizing the needs of the ranch, and the animals in our care. Duties include: General Volunteer Coordination. Recruit and organize the on-boarding of new volunteers.
