Overnight Youth Care Worker - (Lampasas, TX)

Summary: Full time Child Development Specialist position will provide direct supervision to children, ages 5-17, in a supportive youth development environment at residential treatment center during nighttime and early morning hours. Other: Located in Texas Hill Country in rural setting approx 2 hours northwest of Austin in Goldthwaite, Texas. Successful applicant will be required to reside in or near the Brownwood or Goldthwaite area. Responsibilities included, but not limited to: Provide direct supervision to a group of children at night, many who are experiencing emotional trauma Remain awake and in living area at all times while on duty and checking on children at regular intervals Washing and drying all children's clothes Cleaning all common areas on a nightly basis Assist children in making beds, cleaning room and getting fed and dressed for school each day Actively participate in the treatment plan of each child with guidance and assistance of the treatment team
