Inventory Specialist I Job - (Abingdon, MD)

The foremost responsibility of the Inventory Specialist I is to facilitate the process of product management through a system of perpetual inventory. In addition, this role will also be responsible for the resolution of inventory discrepancies and education of personnel resulting in improved inventory integrity. An integral member of the distribution team, the Inventory Specialist I will be self-motivated and be willing to ist when and where needed. Position assignments Perform inventory adjustments and reconciliation of physical, documented, and electronic items Create reporting used to ist other departments in evaluation and application of best practices Audit and report accuracy of the cycle count process Inter-state travel for off-site projects and training Maintain open communications with both onsite and offsite management Min qualifications High school degree or equivalent two or more years of inventory related job function Ability to perform independent research and analysis Excellent communication
