Network Engineer Mid - (Washington, DC)

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Public Trust Position description: Support all aspects of the FCC's IT Infrastructure by delivering and maintaining a robust, flexible, secure, and efficient technology portfolio while tracking all efforts performed in the FCC's IT Service Management System. Responsibilities: * Provide network and infrastructure management and operations support, tracking all work in FCC's ITSM system * Maintain, manage, and support FCC infrastructure comprised of Cisco, Juniper, Checkpoint, and F5 hardware/software * Maintain, manage, and support the FCC WAN infrastructure including MPLS/WAN technologies as well as layer three dynamic routing protocols * Maintain, manage, and support the FCC security infrastructure comprised of vendor diverse FW's Checkpoint, Juniper * Maintain, manage, and support site to site VPN tunnels between the FCC and various business partners * Maintain, manage, and support the FCC F5 load balancers
