Entry to Mid Level Family Law Associate - April 1 Start Date - (Rockville, MD)

Rockville family law firm seeking an associate attorney to join its expanding Maryland and D.C. family law practice. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 (2) years of background in litigation, preferably family law and civil litigation. Judicial law clerks are strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants should highlight background with: post-graduate litigation, Maryland Electronic Court filings, discovery practice, and motion practice, if applicable. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: The associate will draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, memorandum, discovery responses, and prepare for and attend depositions. Associate will prepare trial materials, manage discovery requests and responses, and coordinate with the firm's team to effectively manage a robust caseload. The associate will prepare and appear for court appearances including scheduling conferences, pretrial conferences, mediations, and motions hearings, in Maryland District and Circuit Court.
