Warehouse Inventory Counter - (Phoenix, AZ)

SUMMARY The inventory counter position is responsible for executing pre-defined inventory counts using an RF handheld device for entering counts. This position works closely with both the inventory management team, and warehouse leadership on executing counts, and identifying possible sources of variance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Assignments include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Expertise to accurately input counts into a handheld RF unit and validate item info following specific instructions. Expertise to problem solve issues to uncover underlying issues within the warehouse operation that drive variances. In addition to executing pre-defined counts, the inventory counter will also audit pallets prior to them being shipped to customer for sale. A successful applicant in this role should have strong communication abilities but written and verbal and be comfortable clearly conveying info upstream.
