Role: To direct, mentor, schedule and evaluate teller-line staff to meet the needs of our members. Key functions & Responsibilities: 40% Schedules and monitors daily activities of tellers; hires, trains, directs, and evaluates employee performance within the department; recommends promotions, transfers and salary adjustments; identifies performance problems and takes action to correct, including termination; acts as back-up to Branch Manager during absences. 30% Welcomes members and provides routine details concerning services and directs members to appropriate department for specific details and service; opens and processes new accounts, including savings accounts, business accounts, trust accounts, certificates, IRAs and checking accounts; handles requests in a professional, prompt and efficient manner; cross-sells credit union services.
