Position title Mechanic Employee Type Employee Requisition Primary Location Opelousas, Louisiana Position summary Waste Connections has an immediate opening for a Diesel Mechanic. In this position you will be doing DOT Inspections, preventative maintenance, engine diagnostics, hydraulics, and electrical work on our fleet of garbage trucks. Background with engine repairs and road calls is preferred. To be considered you must have your own tools and at least 3 yrs of background as a Diesel Mechanic working on heavy trucks.
