Westat's research, technical, and administrative staff of more than 2,000 is located at our headquarters in Rockville, Maryland, near Washington, DC. Position details: Westat is seeking a help desk agent with the expertise to support Field Help Desk projects and coordinate activities across projects receiving assistance via phone and electronically. This help desk is critical to support our field interviewers who are conducting in-person interviews. Field Help desk staff should remain calm and patient under pressure and thrive in a team environment. Position duties: -- The field help desk agent will answer procedural questions, probe for details, and solve problems that relate to the technical support of hardware and data transmissions across projects during their shift.
