4K Substitute Teacher - (West Bend, WI)

POSITION OVERVIEW: Under the direction of the 4K Teacher and Branch Director, the 4K Assistant Teacher is responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. The assistant will work with the teacher to implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum based on the standards set forth by the Port Washington/Saukville School District and the Kettle Moraine YMCA. CRITICAL FUNCTIONS: Follows the DCF 251 Licensing Rules for Group Child Care Centers, the policies of the Kettle Moraine YMCA and Port Washington/Saukville School District. Assists the teacher in implementing Port Washington/Saukville School District approved curriculum. Ensures the classroom is clean and orderly. Takes on housekeeping duties as necessary. Participates in meetings, professional development and events as directed. Participates in Individual Education Plans for referred children as directed by the classroom teacher.
