Database Architect - (Durham, NC)

The Database Architect/Administrator shall be: * Responsible for the design, maintenance, performance, patching and updating of the new CIS two databases. * Able to provide capacity planning, backups, performance monitoring, data recovery and security compliance support. Database products supported include the following but are not limited to: Oracle (principle), MS SQL Server, and MariaDB. * Responsible for working with the ARO SME on Oracle to recreate/redesign the new database instances in such a way to support the migration from the CIS to the CIS two platform. * Require to perform data analysis, data migration and development of database scripts, e.g. PL/SQL. Database products supported include the following but are not limited to: Oracle (principle), MS SQL Server, and MariaDB.
