Sr, Network Engineer - (Allen, TX)

A qualified applicant will have a Technical BS degree, or equal vendor certification, as well as 5+ years of professional expertise within an Enterprise environment including layered services over multiple equipment vendors. An expert level of Cisco, Juniper and Nokia protocol-based routing are a must have with a self-driven work ethic to analytically drive network enhancements to resolution with Planning and Engineering teams. Day-to-day work responsibilities: Isolate, troubleshoot and resolve advanced network issues on layer 3, and layer four network devices (routers, MPLS switches) Collaborates with end users and department managers regarding system and network best practices. Engage and lead network outage bridge activity to troubleshoot and resolve large scale network outages. Researches, recommends, and implements changes to enhance systems and network performance.
