Plant General Labor - (Decatur, AL)

POSITION DESCRIPTION: General Operation of fork lift and/or Bob Cat equipment throughout the plant or yard. Hand works metals, with proper safety equipment, to separate and remove impurities. CRITICAL FUNCTIONS - TRANSPORTATION Load and unload trucks. Load and unload tubs and containers of metal product. Elevate, turn and dump loaded containers of product. Scoop and move loose metal products. Add and remove tubs, containers and loose product from inventory. Operate separators to upgrade products All hand work associated with grading metals ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS: Baler Duties: to include, but not limited to operation, cleaning, and maintenance. Preventive maintenance on any of the equipment if required. Follow all safety procedures and Company policies at work. Other plant operations as assigned by the lead person, supervisor or the plant manager. REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to become "operator certified" in both fork-lift and Bob Cat operation.
