SBA Small Loan Underwriter - (St Petersburg, FL)

The SBA Small Loan Underwriter supports the SBA Credit Department with a variety of task to move the credit activity along and assists with meeting the needs of the clients. Duties and Assignments include, but are not limited to, the following: Learn and understand all SBA requirements for SBA eligibility by SOP 5. Learn to spread business financial data and personal financial data for analysis and ensure that all debt on the debt schedule and debt on the balance sheets are accounted for. Learn to verify tax transcripts to tax returns for borrowers and guarantors. Learn UCC procedures to include analyzing UCC lien search to ensure correct lien position of the Bank and terminate any UCC's of lenders whose debt will be refinanced by the Bank's loan proceeds. Pull credit reports and LexisNexis reports as required an analyze some to ensure all existing debt is accounted for and that any derogatory debt related items are addressed. Prepare credit memo for requested loan so that a credit decision may be addressed.
