Quality Assurance Engineer base + Bonus potential. Primary metals: steel, alum, bass, copper, etc. Location: NW Indiana Highly motivated individual is needed to work within a team of talented QA Engineers. This individual will be responsible for providing technical solutions to internal and external customers by understanding manufacturing and product capability. Job responsibilities: Provides metallurgical and technical support for product and process improvement through data analysis, issue solving, ability in area of responsibility, metallurgical and mechanical concepts, and knowledge of customer operations and markets. Monitors product and process variability and performance to standards Meets with representatives of customers / processors to provide innovative solutions to quality and reliability issues, and provides customers with timely warranty solutions. Recommends new technology to satisfy changing customer and marketplace demands.
