Manufacturing engineer - (St Joseph, MI)

. BASIC PURPOSE : Support the production line in the evaluation of manufacturing problems via AIT (Area Improvement Team) meetings and co-monitor with the Production Manager the process indicators to determine process capabilities. NATURE AND SCOPE : Provide accurate and complete engineering documentation; provide support and resources to the manufacturing teams. Assist in the leadership, coordination and documentation of continuous improvement efforts. Provide customer contact to facilitate communications. Participate, coordinate and support other teams as required. ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Provide accurate and complete engineering documentation. Key Measurements Create and update process documents. Create and update tooling documents. Update per customer documents.
