Electrical engineer (engineer iv) - united states - (Las Cruces, NM)

This is a Test Evaluation and Support Team contract position (TEST2) contract position at the NASA White Sands Test Facility. This position may be assigned to Jacobs Technology or a teammate company. Successful applicant will serve as an electrical engineer in the NTEC Facilities & Operations Support Department, Design and Project Management Branch. This position involves the practical application of engineering skills to perform facilities electrical engineering projects. Meeting with customers and team members to develop scope of works, design documents, budgets, and perform construction management. The successful applicant will need to have the expertise to understand and support electrical high (25KV), medium (25KV-480V) to low (480V-24V) A-C power distribution systems, emergency power systems, motor control, fire protection, lightning protection, arc flash, grounding, security systems, and fire alarm systems. Basic knowledge of communications systems, as well as instrumentation & control (I&C) is needed.
