WIC Photographer - (Austin, TX)

Under supervision of the Manager II, performs and directs highly technical, specialized, and creative photography to complement a broad spectrum of publishing and promotional materials for the Texas WIC Program. Consults with staff regarding visuals needed for promotional and published products. Duties will also include high level digital art skills, including digital enhancement of photographs. This position will maintain a digital image archive system using Adobe Bridge and Adobe Lightroom. Coordinates projects and invoicing with vendors and HHSC personnel. Works under minimal supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment.Essential Job Functions:Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.(35%) Applies professional standards of commercial and editorial photography for the Nutrition Services Section and other departments of HHSC for public and agency delivery.
