Regional Planner - (Tampa, FL)

QCI is currently seeking an experienced logistics planner to join our Planning team in Tampa, FL. Come join our growing team! Responsible for optimizing the reloadable bulk transportation assets in assigned region, by communication with terminals, local dispatchers, drivers, and 3rd party logistics providers. Build relationships and manage customer campaigns while optimizing the local and regional assets, both dedicated and reloadable, at the terminals within the assigned region. Critical functions: Identify Available Truck capacity and match with available loads Identify available load capacity and match with available trucks Locate and utilize Company's pool trailers Generate and enter broker loads to balance traffic lanes Travel to and work with load planners at terminals to increase utilization and profitability Education High-school degree or GED Equivalent Required two year Business Degree preferred Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities (Competencies) 2-three years' background in the Trucking Industry Knowledge
