Veterinary Receptionist / Customer Care Coordinator - (Salem, CT)
Full-time Veterinary Receptionist / Customer Care Coordinator in a progressive three veterinarian, privately owned, small animal practice with a dentistry specialty. The general function of the position is coordinating all aspects of indirect patient care. Primary Assignments include: Answer incoming calls--multi-line telephone, emails, on-call messages and handle faxed documents. Schedule appointments and triage appointment requests for urgency according to approved protocols. Greet clients and patients and conduct check in process. Ensure waiting room is managed to ensure a smooth, comfortable flow of clients and patients. Keep reception area clean and tidy. Follow up on late or missed appointments, confirm next day appointments, and prepare hospital admit authorizations for next day. Other general office tasks (i.e. send sympathy cards, scan documents into medical records).
