Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY: Responsible for coordinating and managing all warehouse activities on a daily basis including the receiving, warehousing, shipping and delivery of product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Supervises and coordinates the unloading of inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product, and the picking and staging of outbound shipments. Supervises team members that verify required inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers, ensuring that all products are properly counted. Manages the distribution center transportation fleet including delivery expense routing, DOT compliance, and hiring drivers. Ensures the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment ensuring compliance with OSHA, FDA, and Board of Pharmacy. Participates in establishing work schedules and ensures that the schedules are correctly implemented and that jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly.
