Position title: Software/QA Tester Duration: twelve + Months Location: one Newport News, VA 23607 Position description: Software of Excellence (SwCoE) is seeking a high-potential applicant to join a talented Software Test (QA Test) Team. Working out of Shipbuilding's flagship building - the Virginia Advanced Shipbuilding and Carrier Integration Center (VASCIC), as a member of the Software Test Team you'd be involved in all aspects of software test on our large array of work on embedded and industrial control systems. The nature of our short delivery cycles means you'd background the whole software engineering life cycle, including development of test strategies, test plans, test procedures and test cases, development of software test tools (automated and facilitated test), and execution of test programs. You'd also assist in customer reviews, customer training, and operating manual development. Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
