Autolite spark plugs in Fostoria, Ohio is looking for a Product Engineering Co-Op for Summer 2019. This department is responsible for all R&D activities, product design, product testing, and release to production. This position will focus on various aspects of spark plug design and testing. The co-op will gain background: Writing test requests Performing tests Analyzing data Creating test reports Reading blueprints Designing tooling / fixturing / components / products Making blue prints changes for prototypes Managing prototype builds ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate prototypes from design through assembly phase Design and conduct various experiments Analyze and report test data Perform various laboratory testing Interface with cross functional teams on many diverse projects Perform competitive analysis Provide innovative solutions for assigned projects Current college student seeking a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar Self-motivated
